The bold orange, sculptural 3D type, and character mascot weren't aesthetic choices — they were strategic ones. The 7 studio principles doubled as a pitch differentiator, showing clients our creative philosophy before a brief was signed.

Studio Whippy scaled revenue, built entirely on the brand and operational foundation laid from day one. The strategy deck and studio principles became the primary sales tool, closing clients before a single brief was signed. The Notion workspace reduced onboarding friction and gave clients and contractors immediate confidence. In 2025, the studio's work was recognized with the RGD International Integrated Branding Award out of 390 global submissions — validating that building the brand right from the start wasn't just good design, it was good business.

Reflection

“Studio Whippy is currently on hiatus. When a new opportunity called one of the co-founders away, we made the intentional decision to pause rather than compromise the quality and care the studio was built on. The infrastructure is intact, the brand is alive, and the work speaks for itself — this chapter is paused, not closed.”
